School Ambassadors

September 22, 2016 7:41 pm

As you know the children were looking forward to our special assembly this week when we announced our School Ambassadors.

All the children are really excited about their new roles in school and were proud to have their photographs taken for display. The School Councillors are already preparing questions to ask during Local Democracy Week in October when they will visit King’s Hall in Stoke. They will find out about democracy in more depth and learn more about what the role of a councillor entails.

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our Milton School Ambassadors. They are all extremely enthusiastic about making a positive contribution to the wider life of our school and our community. Well done.

We will be celebrating Harvest in school and as part of this we would like to ask you for a donation or items for Harvest baskets. The new School Councillors will choose a charity for the donations and deliver the baskets of food to people in the local community and the food bank. Please give donations in to the office and items for Harvest baskets by Friday 30th September. Thank you for your support with this.

Please remember that school is CLOSED TOMORROW for teaching training (Friday 23rd September).

Have a wonderful weekend and see you all on Monday.

Mrs L Jukes Interim Head of School
