Greenways Parents, Teachers & Friends Association (PTFA) is a friendly group of volunteers who work together to raise funds for the academy. They arrange school discos, cake sales, Christmas and summer fairs and lots of other events that bring in money to fund sports equipment, technology, educational workshops, special trips like the Christmas Pantomime and resources to support teaching and learning.
The PTFA would not be able to raise money without the invaluable support of all parents, carers and teachers. If you would like to know more about what we do or how to help please take a look at our minutes and newletters.
You could also come along to our next meeting which we update on the Greenways Primary Academy Facebook page and monthly newsletter.
You can contact the PTFA direct at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the academy office for more information.

We did it! Playground Project 2019!
This year our PTFA and staff have worked incredibly hard to continue to raise funds to support the playground project. Through carrying out discos, film nights, cake sales plus the Christmas enterprise fair, we are very excited to announce that the £10,000 goal has been reached!
On 29th June at the summer fair, dedicated PTFA members, representing past and present members, were delighted to hand over a cheque to Greenways Primary Academy for £10,000. This money will now go towards the purchasing of equipment as part of the much needed playground refurbishment this summer.
