Welcome to
Milton Primary Academy

The philosophy of our academy is simple: we aim to foster individual growth, to provide children with skills that will be valuable in life and to challenge and stimulate their intellect, enabling them to achieve high academic levels.

Milton Primary Academy is characterised by its happy, friendly outlook developed through a partnership between home and the academy in an atmosphere of mutual respect and co-operation. This results in children who feel secure to grow in confidence and capability.

Education begins at birth and continues throughout life. The primary stageย is just one phase in the process. We hope that we can, with your cooperation, play our part effectively in the development of happy individuals who can be adaptable, resourceful and resilient in a rapidly changing world.

ย We would warmly invite you to visit us to see our academy first hand.

Stop ๐Ÿ›‘ look ๐Ÿ‘€ listen ๐Ÿ‘‚

Last week in Nursery we found out all about road safety.

We have been looking at how to cross the road safely and what and who is there to help us.

We talked about traffic lights, pelican Crossings, traffic crossing wardens and Zebra Crossings. We decided to take on a whole class art project this week and make our own life size traffic light.

Each key worker group had a job to do - one group painted the box, one made the lights and one painted the pole.

โ€œWe painted the box black,โ€ said Freddie.

โ€œWe squished the paper up then stuck it on,โ€ Lois said.

โ€œWe painted the pole silver,โ€ said Bertie.

Our teamwork paid off and we are so proud of our achievement. Using the bikes and chalks to make the road markings we put our traffic light into action.

The children have been so proud of their achievement and lots of marbles went into the jar for their teamwork. Well done Nursery. ๐Ÿ‘
