Relationships Health Education
Relationships and Health Education (RHE) and Relationship and Sex Education (RSE)
The consultation with parents opened on Tuesday 1st December 2020 and closed on Tuesday 15th December 2020.
From September 2020, it was a statutory requirement that all schools in England are teaching Relationship and Health Education as a fundamental part of the curriculum.
As part of implementing the RHE/RSE curriculum, schools must consult with stakeholders to ensure there is a general consensus on our approaches to policy and the curriculum content.
We are asking parents to read through the following two documents:
-PHSE (Personal, Social, Health Education) including RHE Policy 2022
-Changing Me Overviews
We have provided two leaflets below, to support you with your understanding for the requirements of Relationship and Health Education.
-DfE Guide for Parents
-Jigsaw – Relationship Education, Health Education and Sex Education in the primary school.
Please email any questions or comments to email@example.com. Your comments and questions will be reviewed as part of the consultation.
